Mariapocs, the King of Europe one and only night drift Top16 final.   It is no surprise drifters are travelling from far away to discover this place, like Dmitryi Illyuk this year from Ukraine or Stathis Papargiropoulos from Greece.  Still the same amazing track with the "full throttle" last corner.

Qualification, the best line with exterior clippoints was very tricky and it was no surprize to see again (and again) Todor Dunev taking the #1 rankin with his yellow S13, the driftbox was impressed by his drifting skills as well as the koe judges.

Current leader of the series, Adam Kerenyi was not far from him and the drift battles layout of the final top16 will offer us some serious battles, with a well-known drifter coming back, Jasper Spaan still running the AE86 SR20-powered but he will have to fight all the current series top drifters : Niki Szanto, Nobert Kovacic, Bojan Kurbalija

After an easy round of the top32 for all top drifters, the first big match of top16 was Niki szanto against Adam Kerenyi, #1 against #2 of the series.

Niki was very close to Adam but not enough to get a one more time, then Adam got a clear way to keep its first place at the series unless....

Unless someone called Bojan Kurbalija or Norbert Kovacic can still think about that first place we can bet a bit on them in the future...

Future, we can talk about this top16 fight between 2 possible future top drifters of KOE (we hope for them), Todor Dunev vs Dmitryi Illyuk, hard fight between these two s13, we already know the technical skills of Todor and we have discovered the drift rage of Dmitryi, new comer to KOE but current leader of the Ukrainian drift series, Dmitryi plan to make while KOE series 2010, a name to remember.

Another name to remember is Istvan Szerencses (even if it is not easy to write), Istvan shew high skills in qualifications and pushed hard non stop during all top16 battles. Only a strong Kerenyi was able to stop him.

On the last but not least place of the top4, Stathis Papargiropoulos put high the toyota Ae86 hachiroku, Yes Hachi's can still perform very well in the overpowered drift theather, it just need experienced and malicious drifter like Stathis. Third place was for the crazy Serbian drifter Bojan Kurbalija, third place in this round offering him the 4th place in the championship ranking.

And on the first place, the winner is again Adam Kerenyi, even if everything can still happen, especcially with the double points final, Adam already have more than one feet and a half on first place of the final podium.

So wait and see for the next round in Cluj/Romania followed by Greece final one week-end later, whatever final results this time already been a wonderfull drift year once again...
